Tasting Notes

  • Nose - The nose is floral and sweet, with hints of honey and mint. It reminds me of walking through a flower field, fresh and inviting.

  • Palate – The flavor profile is well-balanced, with no single note overwhelming the others. I’m picking up rich caramel and brown sugar, complemented by a subtle nuttiness that rounds it all out nicely.

  • Finish – The finish is long, sweet, and lingering, with just the right amount of sweetness that sits with you for a while.

  • Overall – Unique in a good way!

Food Pairing - Grilled Chicken with a Soy and Honey Glaze

Nav’s Personal Thoughts – Chattanooga Whiskey Co. has earned a reputation for its innovative approach to whiskey, with unique mashbills, blends, and finishes that set them apart. I’ve been a huge fan of Chattanooga for a while now, and the Bottled in Bond expression was one of the first bottles I tried from them. From the first pour to now, my assessment has remained the same: it’s a truly unique whiskey that I really enjoy. The floral nose, well-balanced flavor profile, and sweet, lingering finish make it stand out. As for food pairings, I’ve tried it with grilled chicken glazed in soy sauce and honey, and let me tell you—it’s absolutely delicious.
